Do you like Lego Animations? Red Bungie has started a series of Lego shorts featuring a character known as Robin of Lego, he's a Lego version of Robin Hood, complete with his own Merry Gentlemen and Lady Marion, except Friar Tuck carries a katana, lil John lops off heads with an axe. Will Scarlet wields a glowing red sword which has three lasers as blades. Alan a Dale has a hammer, the Sheriff a mace, and at the beginning of the story Robin is alone. He rescues each one of his men from captivity and then sets out to rescue Lady Marion. A large battle ensues, many are wounded or die throughout the series. It will be released in sections, on youtube in the next few months. There's going to be a total of 8 other Merry Gentlemen, one of them being a woman. Robin who wields a bow or a crossbow or a serrated curved sword known as "The Retributionist" or any other weapon he gets his hands on at the time, will venture out to save lil John first, as the Axe and Bow Staff using brute joins they go find where Friar Tuck is being held. A few more guards die and he is freed. Will Scarlet, with his glowing red laser blade sword and all red attire, Alan a Dale, the strongman with the hammer and ability to wield virtually any weapon as he is a weapon-smith and has designed many weapons, Much the Miller's Son, the young boy who shoots a deer in the king's forest, Crazy Joe, a loose cannon who fights intensely, and Lady Marion are all rescued as well. The mysterious man known as Hood joins on his own later. Friar Tuck is a spy with ninja like prowess as he works against the Sheriff and his men. Will Scarlet is the fastest most vicious swordsman to ever walk into Sherwood Forest. Much becomes a swordsman and archer in his own right. Lil John remains a force to be reckoned with and is Robin's General and number 2 in command. Alan a Dale is the oldest member of the group and often imparts his wisdom upon them, he also designs weapons for the new members and instructs on basic swordsmanship. Crazy Joe is the mechanic of sorts, he maintains and fixes the wagons, catapult, and any other heavy machinery they have, he also is very good with horses and therefore runs the stables, when he goes to battle he used two sharp knifes and is quite a handful for any swordsman. Lady Marion is trained in the sword and bow techniques, and displays skill only second to Robin himself.
The Sheriff however has many mercenaries in his employment and an army of less trained easier to kill than stormtrooper soldiers. Who do most of the dying throughout this series. Prince John is a dual wielding, well trained arrogant pissant who squanders money, kidnaps Marion and is a general awful person. The two men use all of their power to try and stop Robin Hood's advances and in the end are pitted up against him for one final battle. Which side prevails will be seen at the end. Stay Tuned!
